Tuning a Tesla Coil can be a laborious and tedious task when done incorrectly. A perfectly tuned Tesla coil has a much higher efficiency then just a “more or less” tuned coil. As such it’s recommended to invest some time into the theory of tuning a Tesla coil. You will see your invested time reflected in the increased arc lenght.
